Pricing
New York State Law specifies that there are no "package pricing" permitted. You select the services and merchandise you desire and are charged accordingly. Many people do not have life insurance leaving the family responsible to pay for funeral expenses.
PLEASE NOTE: CASH ADVANCES ARE EXTRA AND NOT INCLUDED. Cash advances include, but are not limited to: Church/Clergy Fees, Cemetery Fees (either purchasing a plot or paying for the opening/closing of the plot). If you choose cremation, the crematory fee is extra and a metal casket can not be cremated. A vault/grave liner is not included, death certificates are not included and a published death notice in the Buffalo News is extra.

You provide us with a favorite article(s) of your loved one's clothing and our seamstress Karen and her expert tailors will transform the clothing into beautiful keepsakes. At Fabric of the Heart we have transformed clothing into pillows, heart shaped pillows, teddy bears, crosses, handkerchief's or what ever you envision. One of our specialties is quilts and blankets and we can incorporate pictures of the deceased and/or precious family pictures. Our creativity is endless and we will work alongside you to create a sentimental keepsake...whether for yourself or to give as a gift. We have also transformed baptismal gowns and wedding gowns into mementos to be used on special occasions. Prices start at $30.00 and the prices depend on the item you order and the size of each item. Any item you select can be made to hold a small portion of cremated remains. Life Story Celebrant: Personalizing the Tribute for your loved one
Every life lived has a story to tell. Our eagerness in helping you celebrate and honor the life of your loved one comes from the belief that every life is different and has a story to tell. The Kevin M. Mason Funeral Home offers a myriad of options to personalize the service for your loved one. For example, you can select customized casket corner pieces, and then keep these pieces after the funeral. You also have choices in personalizing the interior of the casket to reflect the interests of the deceased. If you choose cremation, we can have a porcelain urn hand painted with pictures of the deceased, their family, or whatever you choose. We offer hand painted commemorative plates, custom prayer cards and programs, DVD and electronic picture boards. During calling hours and/or services, we encourage families to bring momentum's to have on display. We also have a vast selection of display items to assist you. We offer many keepsake items such as, jewelry, table clocks, thimbles, stuffed animals, picture frames, etc.
Life Story Celebrant
Every life lived is unique and special to those that survive. I believe that this philosophy should be evident in the funeral service. As a LIFE STORY CELEBRANT, I have experience in conducting funeral services, celebrations of life, memorial services, grave side and chapel services. The services can be held at any funeral home, the residence of the deceased, cemetery chapel or any location selected by the family.
Life is all about building relationships. Relationships are personal, individualized and unique between two or more people. As family and friends gather to pay their respects, it is important to recognize and acknowledge these relationships amongst those in attendance.
My services include meeting with the family to gather information for the service. This consultation with the family can be held in my office, the residence or at the location of the service. I will customize the service based on the life of the deceased, and I will honor any special requests the family may have. You may choose to have scripture readings, music, family participation, a candle lighting ceremony, poetry, videos, memorial/prayer cards and programs as part of the service. The service may be of any duration in length and can include eulogies from family members. Our LIFE STORY CELEBRANT Services may be scheduled during the day or evening and on weekends.
As a LIFE STORY CELEBRANT, I assure you that the service you select will honor and reflect the life and values of the deceased. Every aspect of the service will be tailored to the families specifications. The LIFE STORY CELEBRANT fee will vary depending on the service(s) that are requested. There will be additional charges for musicians, prayer/memorial cards and programs. With every service, if you request, one DVD tribute is included. The LIFE STORY CELEBRANT fee usually start at $100.00. All fees include consultation time with the family, planning the service, traveling time, DVD player and disc player for music if selected.
