Nancy Anne Kaminski

Nancy Anne Kaminiski, [nee Murk], age 95 was received into the waiting arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Nancy was born in Buffalo New York, the daughter of the late Stanley Murk and the late Rose Elizabeth [nee Barnarski] Murk. She married Frederick Kaminiski in 1951 and remained in her beloved "Kaisertown" all her life. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, gardening and was an active reader. She retired from the Ford Motor Plant after almost 53 years of accounting and bookkeeping service. Nancy lived on Barnard St all her life,and she and Frederick remained in the home she grew up in and they raised their children there. Her family and friends will always remember her for many wonderful things including her smile, "adventurous sense of humor", her love and passion of cooking and baking. But most of all her love and devotion for her family and her Lord. She enjoyed family events, playing cards and watching the Buffalo Bills-especially when they won. She was always ready to go on a road trip with her friends and especially her granddaughter Teresa. Whether it was driving around the neighborhood, grocery shopping, going to the Polish Villa, or wherever, she loved being out and about. Nancy will always be fondly remembered by, and never forgotten by her two daughters; Catherine and her husband Thomas Bisorek and Margaret "Maggie" who was the wife of the late Edward Giminiski. Anne was like a second mother and adored by her grandchildren; Elizabeth [Howard] Reiss, Carolyn [ Joseph] Whittaker, Edward [Paula] Bisorek, Michael [Sheila] Bisorek, Howard [Leslie] Giminiski and Jacqueline [Robert] Wardinski and Teresa [Brian] Gaffney. She doted over 11 great grandchildren and also her 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great - great grandchildren. She was the eldest of her siblings whom she always kept in touch with; Irene [the late Walter "Wally"] Lewandowski of CA, the late Samuel [survived by Donna] Murk and Laura [the late Michael] Falkowski. Nancy enjoyed keeping in touch through telephone calls and cards with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews. She loved her two dogs Mickey and Rooney very much who will be laid to rest with her. We were blessed to have had such devoted parents. A father who worked very hard to support his family and who was devoted to his "beautiful bride" and a mother who had a heart of gold and bestowed so much love on her husband and children and grandchildren as well as her extended family. They are now forever joined together and can never be apart again. We will always honor and miss our beloved mother, but we celebrate her exceptional 95 years with us on earth. In accordance with our mothers' wishes the family will gather for their final farewell and eulogies at the Kevin M. Mason Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at St. Matthews Cemetery for her family. A celebration of her life and a Service of Resurrection will be held at the Bread of Life Church at a later date.
