Adam Joseph Maurer, age 36, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Adam was a resident of the town of Cheektowaga. ADAM'S FAMILY WILL HOST A CELEBRATION OF LIFE IN HIS HONOR. THIS WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2023 FROM 1:00 PM -5:00 PM AT THE WESTERN STAR LODGE # 1185 LOCATED AT 692 RIDGE ROAD LACKAWANNA NEW YORK 14218. THERE WILL BE A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AT 1:30 PM. THE FAMILY ENCOURAGES ANYONE ATTENDING TO WEAR BUFFALO BILLS, BUFFALO SABRES, OR YANKEE ATTIRE IN HONOR OF ADAM. Adam is the beloved husband and very best friend of Cynthia Marie [nee Murphy] Maurer. They were married on October 15, 2022. Loving son of Timothy J. Maurer and Terese M. Ross. Dearest brother of Christina [Robert] Palmer of Charleston SC. Fond son-in-law of Thomas and Pamela Murphy. Kindest stepbrother of Nicole S. Maurer and Joe Stallone. The world's best uncle to Ella and Jack Palmer. Adored grandson of Cathy Gurney and loved godson of Steven Ross. Thoughtful brother-in-law of Michael Murphy. Adam was the very best cat and dog dad ever to his dog Zoe and two cats Bella & Daphne. Also surviving Adam are several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many wonderful and devoted friends. Adam was a loyal Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Yankee fan. He passionately loved and cared for animals. He and Cynthia loved spending time by the water, going to country concerts, and always looked forward to his "weekend getaways". Adam and Cynthia began making memories when they started dating twelve years ago. When they started planning their wedding and looking toward the future, they anticipated having more than six short months of married life together. Cynthhia would tell you that every memory and adventure with Adam will be cherished forever.
