Diana H. Golombek "Dee" (nee Zoyhofski) Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Diana passed away peacefully in her Kaisertown home surrounded by her loving and devoted family on Monday, July 25, 2022. She was born in Buffalo New York on Friday, December 31, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph Zoyhofski and the late Helen (nee Sobol) Zoyhofski. She was the wife of the late Thomas Golombek. Dearest mother of Jacqueline (Anthony) Valentine, John Golombek, Laura (Brian) Piccillo, and Thomas Golombek, Jr. Mother -in-law to Bryan Laskowski. Adored Mimi of Antonia (Nicholas), Benjamin, Briana, Anthony, Lily and Landon. Loving Babcia of Jackson and Isla Rose. Beloved sister of Joan (the late John) Matwijkow. Sister in-law of Maria (the late Joseph) Zoyhofski. Dearest friend to Sister Rosemarie Kutsko. She is pre-deceased by her siblings, Bernard (late Dorothy), Donald, Robert, Gerald, Daniel and Sister Mary LaSalette. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Diana was extremely active and a faithful volunteer of St. Casimir's Bingo and soup kitchen. In addition to her volunteering, Diana enjoyed gardening and going out to lunch /dinner dates with her friends. Diana's pride and joy was spending time with her loving family and creating memories that will last a lifetime. she will truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Family and friends will be received on Thursday between the hours of 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Kevin M. Mason Funeral Home 154 Weimar Street (at the corner of Casimir Street). Everyone is cordially invited to meet the family at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church on Friday at 11:00 am for the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery in the Garden of St. Luke. Floral tributes are gratefully declined.
