Michele Jane Distrola

Michele Jane [nee Green] Distrola, age 60 of Bradford PA passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 after a long battle with kidney disease at Buffalo General Medical Center. Michele was born on September 15, 1962, in Bradford PA the daughter of the late William J. Green and the late Beverly J. [nee Prentice] Green. Michele had a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bradford Regional Medical Center/ Foothills Medical Group. She graduated from the Bradford area Hish School in 1980 and obtained her nursing degree in 2004 from Boces Vocational. Michele loved crocheting and knitting. She was a devoted nurse who was very well respected by her peers and loved by her patients. She took great pride in taking special care of the patients and attending to their needs. She will also be remembered for her love and care for animals. She will always be the beloved mother of Megan Skinner and Molly Hadden. Dearest mother-in-law of Edward Skinner and James Chiodo. The best grandmother of Felix Morales and loved and playful " grand-cat mother" of Fritzy, Jetson and Bella and devoted cat mother to Lola and Gidget. She would always purchase special treats and gifts from Chewy for her grand-cats and her fur babies. She even enjoyed facetiming with the fury family members. Having suffered with kidney disease for a long time, Michele referred to herself as the "warrior of kidney disease". She was the loving sister of twins, Michael Green and Melissa Seeker and very fond sister-in-law of Dianna Green and James Seeker. She also leaves her nieces and nephews and many wonderful and dedicated friends. She had a very generous heart and was always ready to help anyone at any time. Family, friends and relatives are invited to Michele's Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 11, 2023, beginning at 11:00 o'clock at the Gun Club on Division Street Extension in Mt. Jewett PA. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be directed to either SPCA of McKean County or the Davita Dialysis of Bradford Pennsylvania.
