Elizabeth Arden Glenboys

Elizabeth, known by most as "Betty", passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on August 10, 2022. Born in Buffalo New York, the daughter of the late Edward J. and the late Eunice K. (Waszik) Walkowski. She lived most of her life in the Kaisertown section of Buffalo. She retired from M&T Bank having served in various positions in the mortgage department as a loan processing officer and office manager. She also was a licensed beautician and enjoyed hairdressing in the evenings and weekends. Betty loved crossword puzzles, the Buffalo Bills, the Godfather series and collecting salt and pepper shakers from around the world. She married her best friend and local Kaisertown resident Edward F. Glenboys at the Church of St. Casimir. Eddie passed away suddenly in 2000, which left Betty devastated. She was the most caring and beautiful mother of Margaret (Howard) Rutowski of DC, the late Michael (survived by Teresa) Glenboys of Syracuse New York and the late George Glenboys. She loved her 7 grandchildren like they were her very own. They are Thomas (Gigi) Glenboys, Abby (Thomas) Sullivan, Edward (Patricia) Rutowski, Jack (Anne) Rutowski, Kenneth Glenboys, Daniel (Carol) Glenboys and Paul (the late Sharon) Rutowski. She doted over her 11 great grandchildren and 3 great -great grandchildren. She adored her sister Helen (the late Kevin) Milligan and her two brothers the late Frederick (survived by Georganne) Walkowski and Stephen (LuAnne) Walkowski. Several nieces and nephews and friends also survive. She was a loyal pet mother to the late Tabby, Chester and Frankie. Private services will be held for the immediate family at the Kevin M. Mason Funeral Home 154 Weimar Street. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and very best friend Eddie at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. The courtesy of no flowers has been requested.
